Top management commitment
Every year the management reviews a Report on the status of HSE, based on the results of the year, which report is an established form of analysis of activities in this area by the management.
Based on this review decisions are made on the directions of further development, corrective and preventive actions. The presented data are taken into consideration also when the LUKOIL Group Development Strategy and the investment programs are approved.
Management System major documents
A Policy in the area of industrial safety, labour safety and environmental protection in ХХI century is in place; internal standards have been developed of the series „Industrial safety, Labour safety and Environmental protection (HSE) management system", which regulate the functioning of the HSE Management System, including risk detection and response actions.

Long-term and medium-term programs for environmental and industrial safety assurance, improvement of labour conditions and safety, prevention and emergency response.
Audit
Internal (using Company's own resources) and external (performed by the central administration office) audits of the HSE system condition are performed on regular basis; external supervisory audits are also performed regularly by auditor company specialists.
Management System Efficiency Assessment
This is performed based on the results of the monitoring including audits, production control, corporate supervision, as well as during Labour Safety and Ecology review contests.
Every year Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are set for the Company.
