LUKOIL DONATED FIVE NEW CHILDREN PLAYGROUNDS TO KAMENO MUNICIPALITY

The opening ceremony of a new children playground was held today in Kameno. This is one of the five new modern facilities donated to the children of Kameno Municipality with the financial support of LUKOIL Company. Three playgrounds are located in the town of Kameno, and two more - in the villages of Vinarsko and Cherni vrah. All of them have been built in compliance with the highest safety standards.
The ceremony was attended by the mayor of Kameno Municipality Zhelyo Vardunski, the Chairman of the Management Board of LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas AD (part of the LUKOIL Group) Sergey Andronov and the Governor of Burgas region Valcho Cholakov. Zhelyo Vardunski expressed his gratitude to LUKOIL for their support, and emphasized that this project is one of the Company’s plenty of good deeds for the benefit of the citizens of Kameno Municipality.
“The new children playgrounds are yet another symbol of our longstanding cooperation with Kameno Municipality resulting in a number of successfully implemented projects of public benefit. An athletic field has been built, educational and social infrastructure facilities have been renovated within the municipality, such as Hristo Botev Secondary School, Slantse kindergarten, Prosveta community centre and others. For LUKOIL charity is an integral part of modern entrepreneurship, and that is why even in time most challenging, from economic point of view, it has never ceased”, - said the Chairman of the Management Board of LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas, Sergey Andronov, and added that new projects has been planned for the future.
