THE AMBASSADOR OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN BULGARIA ANATOLIY MAKAROV VISITED LUKOIL NEFTOHIM BURGAS REFINERY

Today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov, the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Varna Sergey Lukyanchuk, the Commercial Representative of Russia in Bulgaria Igor Ilingin, and The Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Burgas Tonko Fotev visited the refinery of LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas JSC (a subsidiary of LUKOIL PJSC).
The guests vied the major process sites and were informed about the history and the achievements of the refinery, which after its privatization in 1999 fully renovated its production facilities and improved the quality of the products meeting the highest European standards. The Chairman of the management board Ilshat Sharafutdinov highlighted the major priorities of the company’s management – the process and environmental safety of production, economic performance and human resources development.
The diplomates visited the LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas museum presenting the history of Bulgarian oil refining and petrochemistry.
His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bulgaria Anatoly Makarov spoke in praise of the excellent working conditions in the enterprise and underlined that is a perfect example of the business cooperation between Russia and Bulgaria.
