LUKOIL NEFTOHIM BURGAS CARRIED OUT ITS ANNUAL STOCKTAKING

On the first day of each year, LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas JSC conducts a stocktaking of the available quantities of crude oil and petroleum products in accordance with the requirements of the Accounting Act.
In 2024, the stocktaking was carried out with the participation of a Customs Agency team, who verified the inventories of Russian origin crude oil supplied under the current derogation and petroleum products produced from Russian origin crude oil. The refinery staff fully cooperated with the representatives of the Customs Agency for the effective implementation of the stocktaking as of 1 January 2024.
For reference: the Customs Agency of the Ministry of Finance exercises control over compliance with customs legislation in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as over the procedure for the application of the prohibitions and derogations under Article 3m of Regulation (EU) No 833/2014. In accordance with the legal requirements, the Customs Agency fulfilled its obligation on the first day of 2024 to take inventory of Russian crude oil imported and available on that date, as well as the quantities of petroleum products produced.
